Gabrielle
Gabrielle
A young lady called Gabrielle, who visits Lyme regularly from her home in Sutton Coldfield, wrote this poem after a good day out in Lyme on the swings at the playing field.

I swing so high
I swing so high
I can feel the heat of the sun next to me
Like I'm standing next to a dragon
Trying to eat me
I swing so high
I can touch the clouds in the sky
Like pink and fluffy candy floss
Ready to be eaten
I swing so high
I can taste the rain drops from above
Like a drop of juice from the sky
Into my mouth

By Gabrielle - Age 9
