Welcome to Chideock.  Visitors from all over the world come to discover the charms of West Dorset.  With its historic market towns, The World Heritage coast and sleepy villages with thatched hamstone cottages. Well, Chideock and Seatown has thatched cottages but it's not always sleepy!

Chideock has a most interesting collection of local people, some of the older residents can spin wonderful yarns about the village and the younger mixture of talent and expertise will carry the pride of living in the village into the future.

Our website offers the local community a place to meet online with access to the Internet and e-mail accounts. It will be updated on a regular basis and will compliment the Parish Magazine, newsletters and public domain Parish Council notices. We will post details of events both for local people and our visitors.
