We believe we have one of the best golf courses in the South West and one of the finest locations in all Britain.  The course occupies a cliff top site with coastal views to Portland Bill and looks down on the historic town and World Heritage Site of Lyme Regis.  The condition of the course is the source of constant praise from visiting golfers and is to the credit of our team of expert and dedicated greens staff.

Visiting golfers are welcome at Lyme Regis.  The following notes may help you in planning your visit:

Thursday is Ladies' day and the course is closed until 1pm or 3pm depending on the season.

Sunday is Men's competition day and the course is normally closed until 12 noon.
Otherwise visitors may play after 9:30am unless there is a special event taking place, see the Golf Calendar but to be sure please check with the Secretary on 01297 442963 or the Professional on 01297 443822.  There is also an information service on 01297 444988 which will tell you the state of the course, i.e. if the course is open and if a trolley ban is in force due to weather.

There is no booking of tee times, please come along and play.
We use a two-tee start system so your round will begin on either the 1st or 10th depending on the time you play.  Please ask for details and see the notices in and outside the Clubhouse.

Green Fees are payable in the Pro shop.

The Clubhouse is run by David Astill and his staff who will be delighted to welcome you into its warm surroundings.

In addition to the main lounge/bar area there is a sizeable restaurant/dining room and a stud bar providing excellent facilities for Members and visitors to the Club.

The bar is open from 11am to 8pm in the winter and 11am to 9pm in the summer.  The catering hours are from 11am to 5pm in the winter (Sunday 7am to 4pm) and 11am to 9pm in the summer (Sunday 7:30am to 5pm).  The outstanding menu is supported by an excellent selection of fine wines chosen by the Members.

There is a carvery every Sunday lunchtime which is very popular and so you do need to book in advance to avoid disappointment.  We are now offering Candlelight Dinners every Friday evening with special 3 course menus but again you do need to book in advance.

The strong social scene at the Club includes several themed evenings, details are posted in the Clubhouse.
