Our NHS dental surgery is located on the ground floor at The Elms Medical Centre in Charmouth. We have now been open for nearly 2 years. There are in the region of 6000 registered patients with more on the waiting list eager to receive a check up or treatment. Following a 3 month period of absence, Mrs. Olga Palmer has now left our dental practice. We hope to appoint a replacement dentist shortly. Mr. Victor Spencer consults for 9 sessions each week as usual.

At present, for those patients who are not exempt charges, we take payment by credit card, debit card, cash or cheque.

The basis of NHS dentistry is to provide care to promote and restore dental health.

There are however times when the materials used in NHS treatment, whilst perfectly adequate, do not give the cosmetic appearance that some people may require. In this situation it is entirely appropriate to discuss with Mr. Spencer, the available options both within and outside the NHS.
