Yoga offers you the chance to get to know yourself, not just the thinking bit of you at the front of your brain and a rough guide to your insides, but the whole of You that is greater by far than the sum of your parts. I call it the inner landscape, and it can be as small as an atom or as large as the cosmos. Yoga is your very own ‘Hogwarts Express’ which can take you to that landscape.

How does yoga do this? The physical practice of asanas relieves and harmonises the body, develops prana or life force, soothes the nervous system and calms the brainwaves, allowing the quieter, less ’scattered’ part of your self, your Consciousness you might call it, to open and become available to you, enhancing your well being on many levels. Or something like that…how can we put this into words?
