As you sample the delights of our home-cooked food, you can immerse yourself in a journey back into 18th Century, a time when Jane Austen visited the town and smugglers such as Jack Rattenbury, used to regularly ply their trade.

When the weather is good, you can eat in the tranquility of our secret garden and enjoy a moment away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

As you leave you can take a taste of the Georgian Tea Rooms with you. Our very own Olde Sweet Shop stocks over 100 different varieties of jarred sweets, which can also be sent to you by mail.

As if this wasn't enough, you can also choose from a wide selection of gifts, some of which are made by the owners themselves.

We are open everyday from 10-5 and offer a wide variety of delicious food, including of course, our much loved Dorset Cream Tea.

We often cater for special events such as birthday parties though booking would be appreciated for parties with large numbers.
