We are situated on the Dorset/Devon border three quarters of a mile from the sea at Lyme Regis to the south and around three miles from the A35 at Raymonds Hill to the north.

We are currently researching the history of the house, but we do know that it was built on the site of an old coaching inn. It seems that a public house has always been on the site. The current property was a public house until the 1990s when it was closed by the brewers. It was boarded up for a while and then purchased by our predecessors who undertook a massive refurbishment of the property and turned it into a bed and breakfast business.

We are continuing with that business and have been trading since we moved in early in September 2001. When we have more information about the house, we plan to write it up for visitors to this site and our guests. We hope to provide some pictures too.
